FOP2 whisper functionality

FOP2 whisper functionality 2 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 1
Just installed FOP2 on elastix and everything seems to working fine including listen but for some reason the "listen and whisper" does not work as I could only listen and not whisper. Don't know if I am doing something wrong?
Also for the recordings does the monitoring page in elastix show recording for all users or just the logged in users assigned extensions.

Thanks for your input. I went over to the FOP2 forums and looks like the whisper functionality in broken in 1.4.26 (issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=15660)
Looks like I will have to wait for an elastix update.

Try it with an updated Elastix 1.6, it uses asterisk 1.4.28

So I just run "yum -y update". Is that recommended even for a production server?

ı am also using elastix 1.6.2 and also I can listen calls but I can not whisper any caller! Is there any way to solve this issue except using fop2?

I am using 555 for spying but I cannot whisper the agents. I am new about elastix so I did not change any side of code implementations. The feature codecs is default of this version I did not change anything. The tutorial says "w" or "W" for whisper but where am I use these keys? Most of forums say it is a bug for 1.6 of elastix, but there should be a way for solve this problem?

Lol...
There is no bug... that is the way chanspy is suppossed to work, only spy and NOT whisper.

If you are using elastix 2.0 with asterisk 1.6 you may press the following digits to change the spy mode:
Code:

    DTMF to switch between spy modes.
        4 - spy mode
        5 - whisper mode
        6 - barge mode

Yes I am using elastix 1.6.2 but nothing has changed when I press 4,5 or 6! I can only spy with press 555 then call button? Any idea?
