I have been having a problem Installing Fop2 on my Elastix 2.2 server. I have been following the instruction on elastixconnection.com, but I keep getting stuck at, loading
this command " /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test " when I load that I keep getting this
respond
"Flash operator Panel 2 - No valid license found. Demo Mode
Manager authentication failed. Check credentials!"
Now I trace and followed most off the threads on the forum, and followed some off the fix
with no result, same problem.
anyway am just now noticing that I could off install this rite from the addons, anyway am trying this on another server now to see if this works.

now here is my questions.
is their a fix for the way I have been trying to install this?
and if not how can I deinstall it from my server so I can do it the rite way?
Installing Fop2 from the addons is this the rite way to do this?

Installing it from addons is easier and quicker, you will just need to execute:
yum install fop2

My guess is that you should erase that folder (/usr/local/fop2) and then install it.

If you would like to trouble shoot your current fop2 installation, check that you are using the admin and password for AMI used on /etc/asterisk/manager.conf

Ok let me get this rite. should I first install this from the addon and then do a yum install fop2 ?

OK here is where I am with this. I did a fresh install off elastix 2.2 then install fop2 from the addon mod, setup an extension, add a manager, I then tried to connect via the extension that I setup, and no go, it don't work. It just comes up with "could not connect to server" . does anyone out their really have a step by step instruction off how this work. I Know that the addon mod was to make the install easy. But I believe that their more to it than what is posted. I bought the licence off witch I can't used, because I can't even get the basic setup to work. I paid for support from elastix off which was no help. I don't mind paying someone to install this for me, but I also need to know how its done. again is their anyone out their that real knows how this thing works. Help.

And by the way, the setup is easy, just over a clean install, type:
yum install fop2
create a user & password, and thats it

Ok Thanks I did get it working to where, I can login with a user, however I can't seems to figure out how to set up the buttons. So I going to loin for support to see if I can get some help on this.
